In a 73-year-old woman, on the leg

What to see at dermoscopy:

-cerebriform pattern
-fissures and ridges
-sharp borders
-scar-like depigmentation (lower portion of lesion)
-scaly surface at the lower portion of lesion

Although dermoscopy is in favor of seborrheic keratoses,  biopsy at the lower portion of lesion was indicated to rule out a squamous cell carcinoma.
Hitopathology correlation: actinic keratoses.

In a 45-year-old women, on the abdomen

What to see at dermoscopy:

-aggregated yellow globules
-fine nonarborizing blood vessels
-at the right portion of lesion, a dark pigmented structureless area with milia-like cysts
Biopsy was suggested at yellow globules area
Dermoscopy in favour of Nevus sebaceous of Jadassohn (yellow lobularlike structures) and seborrheic keratosis (dark lesion)

Comments: the differential diagnosis of yellow loburlarlike structures visualized on dermoscopy includes sebaceous hyperplasia, sebaceous adenoma and nevus sebaceous of Jadasshon. In a 76-year-old woman, on the upper eyelid

What to see at dermoscopy:

-pseudonetwork with irregular pigmentation around follicular openings
-milia-like cysts
-hypopigmented areas
-scar-like depigmentation (lower portion of lesion)
-melanosis (left side of lesion)
Biopsy at a pigmented spot was indicated
Histopathology confirmed the Lentigo solar diagnosis

Comments: frequently, slate-gray dots and asymetric follicular openings pigmentation are the earliest feature of lentigo maligna. Those findings prompt a biopsy to rule out malignancy
