In a 54-year-old woman, on the face (persistence of lesion after topical TCA)

What to see at dermoscopy:

-irregular annular-granular pattern [pseudonetwork] (circle)
-strawberry appearence

Although Dermoscopy was in favor of actinic keratosis biopsy over the pigmented site was indicated. Irregular annular-pattern should raise the suspicion of lentigo maligna

In a 63-year-old man, on the scalp

What to see at dermoscopy:

-strawberry appearance
-annular-granular pattern
-hyperkeratosis at the low portion of lesion
-incontinentia pigmenti

Dermoscopy in favor of pigmented actinic keratosis

Comment: biopsy was suggested to rule out a squamous cell carcinoma

What to see at dermoscopy:

-pseudonetwork
-asymmetric pigmentation of follicular openings (rhomboidal structures)
-annular-granular patern
Biopsy at the pigmented area was indicated
Histopathological correlation: melanoma in situ

In a 56-year-old woman, on the cheek; previous personal history of melanoma excision on the trunk

What to see at dermoscopy:

-asymmetric pigmented follicular openings forming an annular-granular pattern (rhomboidal structures)
-white-blue veil
-scar-like depigmentation
-blue-gray fine dots (peppering),
Biopsy was suggested at pigmented site
Histopathological correlation: melanoma in situ

What to see at dermoscopy:

-irregularly pigmented pseudonetwork (annular-granular pattern)
-light to medium brown pigmentation
-strawberry appearance and telangectasia
-white to yellow surface scale
Biopsy was indicated at the pigmented site
Histopathological correlation: actinic keratosis
