In a 50-year-old man, on the thigh

What to see at dermoscopy:

-reticulo-globular pattern
-irregularly distributed dots (circle)
-blue-white veil that covers all lesion

Dermoscopy in favor of dermal nevi and histopathology confirmed the diagnosis

Comments: The presence of irregular dots justified extirpation
to rule out a melanoma arising from melanocytic nevi
