In a 52-year-old man, on the trunk

What to see at dermoscopy:

-pigment network at periphery
-central area with confluent blue-black pigmentation
-blue-white veil
-the pigmentation fades into the surrounding skin
-milia-like cyst
Excision was indicated.
Histopathological correlation: blue nevus

Comments: the presence of a blue nevus with pigmented network should be considered as a combined nevus.
