-structureless areas (erythema)
-fine and arboriform telangectasias
-ulceration
-blue-white veil
Dermoscopy in favor of basal cell carcinoma and histology confirmed diagnosis

In a 42-year-old man, on the forehead
What to see at dermoscopy:
-arborizing vessels and fine telangectasias
-blue-gray globules
-scar-like depigmentation
-ulceration with congealed blood
-erythema
-chrysalis structures
Biopsy was suggested.
Histopathology correlation: basal cell carcinoma with follicular differentiation

In a 48-year-old woman, on the back
What to see at dermoscopy:
-arborizing and fine telangectasias
-blue-gray ovoid nests
-blue-gray globules
-blue-white veil
-corona
Excision was indicated
Dermoscopy in favor of Pigmented basal cell carcinoma. Pathology confirmed the diagnosis.
Comments: the differential diagnosis of this lesion includes nodular melanoma

In a 36-year-old woman, on the gluteus
What to see at dermoscopy:
-multiple branching blood vessels (a few in a tree-like pattern)
-multiple blue-gray globules
-fissures
Biopsy was suggested
Histopathological correlation: nodular basal cell carcinoma
Comments: besides its atypical localization (the gluteus is not a frequent sun exposed area), this lesion presents fissures, a relatively common finding in keratoses seborrheic and also observed in congenital and dermal melanocytic nevi.

-erythema

-scar-like depigmentation
